Surging in Silence

Since fall of 2020 I have been producing this print and radio series, backed by a Pulitzer Center local-reporting grant.

The project is a partnership with Nashville Public Radio, The Institute for Public Service Reporting (University of Memphis) and the Nashville Scene.

The individual, local stories have been published in or broadcast on Nashville Public Radio, WKNO FM (Memphis’ NPR member station), The Daily Memphian and The Nashville Scene.

The national stories have aired on NPR’s Here & Now and APM’s Marketplace.
